LIMBANG (Oct 2): Sarawak’s actual needs in the education sector, including infrastructure, recruitment of officers and staffing structures, were among the issues raised at the recent Malaysia Agreement 1963 Implementation Action Council (MTPMA63) meeting in Sabah.

Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan said the management of the education sector must take into account the situation on the ground to ensure facilities and manpower meet local needs.

“I have already voiced Sarawak’s educational development needs at the MTPMA63 meeting held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
