KUCHING (Oct 1): The Magistrates’ Court here sentenced a man to 10 months in jail for peeping on his former female colleague while she was in an office toilet last week.
Magistrate Ling Hui Chuan convicted Rozika Kalut, 29, on his own guilty plea to a charge under Section 509 of the Penal Code for insulting the modesty of the 37-year-old victim.
The Section provides for a maximum jail term of five years or a fine, or both, upon conviction.
He committed the offence at a printing company on Jalan Setia Raja here at about 6.40pm on Sept 24.
