KUALA LUMPUR: Azhan Shafriman Hanif has assured that access to the circuit for the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia MotoGP event on Oct 30-Nov 1 will be easier and more affordable than the recent Bahrain GP Formula One race held at the track.
The Sepang International Circuit (SIC) chief executive officer, during a press conference on Sunday, said motorcycle parking, which was not available during the F1 race, will also be made available.
"In terms of parking, what is for sure is that we will not be charging in US dollar this time (as was charged during the Bahrain GP), we will be charging in ringgit," said Shafriman.
"We have not finalised the prices yet but we will not repeat what we went through during F1 here. We will likely try to maintain prices from the Malaysian GP last year.
