MELAKA: All schools in Melaka will reopen tomorrow after being closed for a day due to haze.
Melaka Education Department director Mahfudzah Mohamed Noor said the decision was made following an improvement in air quality, with the latest Air Pollutant Index (API) readings returning to healthy levels.
She said the decision also took into account prevailing conditions, while prioritising the safety and well-being of pupils, teachers and education institution staff.
"All education institution administrators are urged to take the necessary measures to ensure smooth operations and comply with the latest instructions and guidelines issued by the Education Ministry and relevant authorities.
