(Bernama pic)PETALING JAYA: The Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, has been invited to the upcoming Conference of Rulers meeting, which starts tomorrow, Singapore's Straits Times reports.
The development is seen as recognition by the Malay rulers of Tuanku Muhriz as the rightful Negeri Sembilan ruler, amid a royal crisis stretching six months that saw his cousin, Tunku Nadzaruddin Tuanku Ja’afar, "proclaimed" as the new ruler.
Straits Times reported that Perak's Sultan Nazrin Shah, who is slated to chair the meeting from tomorrow until Oct 15, invited Tuanku Muhriz to attend.
