JERTIH: A man and his son who went missing on Thursday while searching for medicinal roots in a forest near the La Hot Spring recreational area in Hulu Besut were found safe at noon today.
The two men, Adam Adnan, 25, and his father Adnan Mohamad, 57, were found by a search and rescue (SAR) team at 12.40pm, about 3km from the operation's command post.
Besut police chief superintendent Mohd Rozaime Ab Rahim said they were brought out of the forest at 2.45pm via the Lata Kolam Air Deru recreational area.
"The two men were found weak after going without food for three days while lost in the forest.
