BEIJING: Mirra Andreeva overcame a first-set loss Friday to advance to the Round of 32 at the China Open in Beijing.

The 19-year-old fourth seed provided the day's biggest drama when she lost 3-6 to wild-card entrant Yue Yuan of China.

She stormed back to double-bagel the world's 135th-ranked player 6-0, 6-0.

After the match, Andreeva termed her start "frustrating," adding, "I was just not happy with the way things were going."

She said Yuan was the more aggressive player in the first set.
