KUALA LUMPUR: Police have issued summonses to a driver after a viral video showed two men sitting on the roof of his moving car in Taman Puteri Wangsa, Ulu Tiram.
Johor Baru Selatan district police chief Assistant Commissioner Azrul Hisham Mohd Shaffei said police detected the video and photographs about 9am on Oct 24 after they were shared on the Info Bencana Pahang Facebook page.
"The driver, who was traced on Oct 25, was found to have been driving without insurance coverage or a valid driving licence," he said in a statement.
He said the footage showed the two men sitting on the roof of a blue Proton Wira as it travelled from Jalan Beladau 32 towards Jalan Bukit Jaya.
