(Threads pic)PETALING JAYA: The headmaster of a vernacular school in Teluk Intan, Perak, has lodged a police report over a viral video of a parent confronting him about allegations that he sexually harassed her child.
Perak police chief Alwi Zainal Abidin said preliminary investigations indicated that the student’s family confronted the headmaster after he allegedly contacted the girl to express feelings of love and affection for her.
Alwi said the matter is being investigated under the Penal Code and the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, Utusan Malaysia reported.
"However, we will conduct a detailed investigation into both matters, particularly as the case involves a civil servant," he told a press conference at the Perak police headquarters in Ipoh.
