KUALA LUMPUR: A refreshed Lee Zii Jia has turned to K-pop sensation IU (Lee Ji-eun) for musical inspiration as he looks to continue his career resurgence at the Hylo Open in Saarbrucken, Germany.

The independent shuttler reached his first Super 500 semi-final at the Arctic Open in Vantaa, Finland, three weeks ago, and also resolved a court dispute involving his family members at the Kuala Lumpur High Court last week.

Zii Jia begins his Hylo Open campaign against Singapore's world No. 33 Jason Teh in the first round later today.

"Always IU for that little bit of inspiration ahead of the Hylo Open campaign. Looking forward to taking to the courts in Saarbrucken," posted world No. 42 Zii Jia on his Instagram and Facebook accounts.
