KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Solidarity Families in Hope (MASFIH) says eligible families of the 54 Malaysians missing in Nepal will receive immediate Social Security Organisation (Perkeso) payouts.
This follows a meeting with Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan today.
MASFIH spokesman Dr R. Manivannan said Ramanan had asked the Perkeso chief executive to immediately review the missing Malaysians' coverage under the scheme, with eligible claims to be paid out without delay.
He said Perkeso needed the identity card numbers of the missing, which the families had not previously collected.
