KUALA LUMPUR: Kuching City have more than just their first AFC Champions League Two (ACL2) victory to chase when they host South Korean side Gangwon at Taha Ariffin Stadium on Thursday.
The Cats are also desperate to put an end to a three-match losing streak, but coach Aidil Sharin Sahak faces a difficult balancing act with a crucial FA Cup assignment against Selangor just three days away.
Kuching's recent slide began with a 3-2 defeat to Brunei DPMM in the Super League before they suffered a 2-1 loss to Selangor in the FA Cup semi-final first leg on Oct 23.
Their hopes of turning things around were then dealt another blow when Gangwon edged them 1-0 in last Thursday's first meeting in Gangneung.
