Zetrix AI Bhd said MyEG Sdn Bhd is confident in the merits of its position and will take all necessary steps to safeguard its interests, including defending its position through the appropriate legal channels where necessary.PETALING JAYA: Zetrix AI Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, MyEG Sdn Bhd, has received a RM353.13 million tax assessment from the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) over transfer pricing matters for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 years of assessment.
“Transfer pricing” refers to the pricing of transactions between related companies.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, Zetrix said the assessment MyEG received on Wednesday comprises RM333.11 million in additional income tax related to transfer pricing and RM20.02 million in deemed interest, including penalties.
