KUALA LUMPUR: The federal government received investment dividends of RM39.547 billion in 2025, an increase of RM535 million or 1.4% compared with RM39.012 billion in 2024.
According to the auditor-general's report on Putrajaya's financial statements for 2025, the dividends were received from 20 companies and two statutory bodies compared with 21 companies and two statutory bodies the previous year.
"In 2025, Petronas contributed the highest dividend, amounting to RM32 billion, while Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) recorded a significant increase in dividend payments, rising by RM2.4 billion," said the report released today.
