Waze’s potential ban presents an opportunity for local developers to create reliable homegrown navigation apps and reduce reliance on foreign platforms.
WAZE has dominated the news for the past few weeks, and for good reason—the security of the nation should never be compromised.
Though, it remains a mystery why the government is only now realising that Waze is governed by the laws of the state of Israel, given that it has operated under them since its inception in 2006.
The ban might affect many who rely on it, but I for one rarely use Waze. I personally have found Waze to be irritating, confusing, and somewhat deceiving.
