(Bernama pic)KUALA LUMPUR: A DAP MP has questioned the Attorney-General's Chambers over its delay in deciding on the investigation paper on Negeri Sembilan menteri besar Ismail Lasim being coerced into signing a proclamation seeking to remove the state ruler.

Cha Kee Chin (PH-Rasah) said the people of Negeri Sembilan deserved to know the latest developments in the case, given that the police submitted the probe paper to the AGC on Sept 29.

"We were informed that, as of Oct 21, the police were still waiting for the AGC’s decision and further instructions concerning the investigation paper," he said while debating the 2027 budget at the committee level in the Dewan Rakyat.
