(Bernama pic)PETALING JAYA: An MP has urged the government and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) to push for an MRT station at the proposed Bandar Madani development site in Bukit Jalil to ease the worsening traffic congestion there.
Teresa Kok (PH-Seputeh) said the station would also benefit residents in Bandar Kinrara and Puncak Jalil, where traffic congestion was becoming increasingly serious.
Debating the 2027 budget at the committee stage in the Dewan Rakyat today, Kok also urged DBKL to lower the plot ratio for the Bandar Madani project, which is expected to comprise 17,000 Rumah Madani units on a 26.3ha site.
