Rosli Abdullah said while Gen Z candidate Mukhlisul Mubin Julasapiyah may have good intentions for Kuala Linggi, his own work speaks for itself.PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional’s Rosli Abdullah has called on voters to cast their ballots in the Nov 14 Melaka election based on the candidates' experience and performance, and not to be influenced by their age.
The Kuala Linggi incumbent, who is seeking to defend his seat, expressed confidence that his five years of experience as an assemblyman and good relations with the residents would serve him well.
Rosli, 58, faces Pakatan Harapan's Mukhlisul Mubin Julasapiyah, 25, and Bersama's Nur Farhana Hamzah, 41, in a three-cornered contest for the seat.
He won the seat in the 2021 state election with a majority of 1,836 votes, defeating Mukhlisul's father, Julasapiyah Kassim, PAS's Aziah Saad, and independent candidate Kamisan Palil.
