PETALING JAYA: Waja Konsortium Bhd, through its 51%-owned subsidiary Waja Build Tech Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM190 million contract to undertake building and external works for a residential development in Johor Bahru.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, it said Waja Build Tech accepted a Letter of Award dated Oct 21, 2026, from Affluent Crafts Sdn Bhd on Nov 4, 2026, appointing it as the main contractor for the project.
The development comprises a 26-storey serviced apartment block with 824 units, six levels of podium car parks, two levels of semi-basement car parks and related facilities.
It also includes a three-storey Type C affordable townhouse block comprising 24 units, together with supporting facilities.
