KUALA LUMPUR: Citaglobal Bhd's subsidiary LAWI Engineering GmbH (LAWI Germany) has secured an engineering and equipment supply contract worth approximately RM29 million for the Siam Power Naklang waste-to-energy (WTE) project in Thailand.

Citaglobal said the contract covers the engineering, procurement and construction of the project's steam boiler plant, as well as basic engineering for the technology component of the overall WTE power plant.

LAWI Germany will undertake the imported engineering and equipment supply scope valued at approximately RM29 million, or EUR6.33 million, while its consortium partner will undertake the local scope valued at approximately RM23.1 million, or THB189.6 million.
