Hyrox’s Malaysian race from Dec 10 to 13 had been in doubt after Carlsbery Malaysia was originally named as the 'official beer partner' for the international fitness event.PETALING JAYA: The youth and sports ministry has granted conditional approval for Hyrox’s Malaysian race from Dec 10 to 13, says its minister, Dr Taufiq Johari.

Taufiq said the approval was subject to full compliance with the Safe Sport Code and all requirements stipulated by the office of the sports commissioner.

“The organisers of Hyrox Kuala Lumpur 2026 have agreed to observe all the requirements under Clause 5.2 of the Safe Sport Code.

“The ministry will oversee compliance with the stipulated conditions throughout the event and wishes all participants the best of luck,” Bernama quoted him as saying today.
