KUALA LUMPUR: The 2027 Budget will strengthen Permodalan Nasional Bhd's (PNB) mandate to grow Bumiputera wealth through a new endowment of 20.23 hectares of prime commercial land in Kuala Lumpur.

PNB president and group chief executive Datuk Rizal Rickman Ramli said the allocation marks the group's first new endowment since its formative years in the early 1980s.

He said it reinforces PNB's founding mandate to enhance Bumiputera wealth and participation through long-term value creation.

"The new endowment reflects a long-term commitment to preserving strategic Bumiputera ownership, unlocking sustainable economic value from national assets, and ensuring the benefits generated can continue to grow and serve future generations," he said in a statement.
