KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Bhd welcomed the 2027 Budget measures to ease living costs and improve housing affordability by boosting household disposable income, reducing upfront homebuying costs and widening access to housing financing.
"These initiatives are particularly timely in supporting first-time homebuyers and middle-income households, while providing positive momentum for Malaysia's residential property market," said Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum.
Leong said the group was also encouraged by the government's continued emphasis on infrastructure development, public transport connectivity, energy security and the transition towards a greener economy.
