KUALA LUMPUR: Worsening haze has disrupted daily routines, raised safety concerns among road users and forced parents to scramble for childcare arrangements following the short-notice announcement of school closures.
While some have reported health concerns and cut back on outdoor activities, others are urging employers to consider work-from-home (WFH) arrangements to reduce exposure to the haze.
Grab rider Ravi Chandraan said he had been unwell for the past three days, which he attributed to the haze.
He said poor visibility on the roads had also made riding his motorcycle more difficult, raising concerns about safety while working.
