Perikatan Nasional deputy chairman Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man had said previously that PN and PAS were expected to contest seven to 10 seats in the Nov 14 Melaka polls.KUALA LUMPUR: Perikatan Nasional will contest more than four seats in the coming Melaka state election, its deputy chairman, Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, said.
“It will be finalised in the near future after discussions with Umno,” he told reporters after attending Parliament for the tabling of the 2027 budget today.
Last month, Tuan Ibrahim said PN and PAS were expected to contest seven to 10 seats in the Nov 14 polls.
He also said that PN and Umno had discussed seat allocations and drawn up a basic framework for the election.
