The JPJ officers were inspecting a motor loader at Km256.1 of the North-South Expressway when they were hit by a lorry.SEREMBAN: A road transport department (JPJ) personnel was killed and another seriously injured when a lorry crashed into their car and a motor loader they were inspecting at Km256.1 of the North-South Expressway (northbound) near the Senawang exit last night.

The drivers of the motor loader and the lorry were also injured in the incident, which occurred at about 10.30pm.

Negeri Sembilan police chief Alzafny Ahmad said the 42-year-old JPJ officer who died suffered head injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene.

His 32-year-old colleague, who also suffered severe injuries to his head and several parts of the body, is receiving treatment at Tuanku Ja’afar Seremban Hospital.
