SHAH ALAM: Four people were injured, including a man who sustained critical head injuries, when a 10-tonne lorry travelling against the flow of traffic rammed into vehicles in the opposite lane at the Alam Budiman traffic lights along Jalan Mokhtar Dahari today.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Ashrul Riezal Asbar said the victims comprised three men and a woman.

"One of the men was trapped and sustained critical head injuries, while another man suffered abdominal injuries. A third man sustained minor injuries, while the woman suffered moderately critical head injuries.

"All four victims were successfully extricated and handed over to Health Ministry personnel for treatment," he said in a statement.
