(Bernama pic)KUALA LUMPUR: Flood victims in Penang, Pahang, Kedah and Perak have returned home as flood waters receded with only two relief centres still in operation in Perak this evening.
The centre at Matang Gelugor houses 146 evacuees from 48 families while 56 people from 21 families are housed at the Matang centre.
The floods hit Kampung Matang Pasir and Kampung Matang Gelugor, while the storm also struck Kampung Changkat Baru Matang, Kampung Teluk Kertam, Kampung Melawati and Kampung Hujung Matang. Other areas affected were Kampung Changkat Ibol, Kampung Batu 9 and the Trong and Matang areas.
