PETALING JAYA: Criticisms over the extensive media coverage on former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad grieving in the days following the death of his wife Dr Hasmah Ali has caught the attention of the government.
Communications minister Fahmi Fadzil has advised those who are concerned about any excessive media coverage to file their complaints with the Malaysian Media Council (MMM), Bernama reported.
He said any grievances should be channelled through the proper avenues to avoid misunderstandings and actions that could affect the integrity and credibility of the media industry.
