KUALA LUMPUR: Political leaders from across the divide were seen entering a meeting room at parliament this afternoon for what an invitation described as a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing ceremony.
Those spotted at the venue included Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Opposition leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Bersatu vice-president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, Datuk Seri Radzi Jidin, Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said and Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz.
It is believed to involve a confidence and supply agreement between the opposition and the government, as part of a commitment to support the 2027 Budget.
