Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal alleged that the opposition MPs who signed an agreement with the government yesterday will not be able to raise sensitive issues concerning Anwar Ibrahim’s administration.PETALING JAYA: Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal has slammed the opposition MPs who signed a confidence and supply agreement (CSA) with the government yesterday, claiming they have lost their freedom to criticise Anwar Ibrahim’s administration.
In a Facebook post, the Wawasan information chief alleged that the terms of the agreement were one-sided and intended to prevent opposition MPs from raising sensitive issues concerning the federal government.
Wan Fayhsal pointed out that then Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Muhyiddin Yassin – who was among the MPs who signed the agreement yesterday – rejected a proposed CSA in 2023 after arguing that it was not in the opposition’s best interests.
