KOTA BARU: The Attorney-General's Chambers (A-GC) is not confined to legal affairs, but is also committed to community outreach.
Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar said the A-GC's participation in the Madani Adopted School Programme reflected its commitment to contributing expertise and support to society, particularly in meeting educational infrastructure needs.
He noted that certain quarters had questioned the involvement of government agencies in such initiatives, including raising the matter in parliament.
"We cannot just sit in the office. We also need to go down to the ground to help the community. I believe this earns spiritual rewards, and it is encouraged in Islam," he said when speaking at the launch of the A-GC Madani Adopted School Programme at SK Pasir Hor here today.
