KUALA LUMPUR: Sepang International Circuit (SIC) expects the Formula One feasibility study to be presented to cabinet by the end of this month.

SIC chief executive officer Azhan Shafriman Hanif said it is then entirely up to the government to decide whether or not to bring F1 back to Malaysia on a permanent basis.

"We expect it to happen at the end of November, or possibly in the third week," he said yesterday.

"Available F1 slots will be discussed at the cabinet level. We will leave it to the government to decide.
