(Threads pic)PETALING JAYA: Heavy rain since last night has caused flash floods in Shah Alam, forcing the closure of several sections of the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE) and Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE).
PLUS Malaysia Bhd said floodwaters blocked both directions of the NKVE at KM9.1 between Shah Alam and Subang at 4.07am, forcing traffic diversions.
All lanes before the Shah Alam toll plaza and at the Shah Alam interchange on the ELITE were also closed.
Meanwhile, Prolintas GCE reported closures at Ramps B, C and D of the NKVE interchange following flash floods at 5.42am.
