PETALING JAYA: The health condition of Tengku Puteri Zainah Tengku Eskandar, the former wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, is reportedly critical, and she is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) on Level 1 of Gleneagles Hospital Ampang.
The news was shared by her eldest son, Datuk Mohamad Nizar Mohamad Najib, on Facebook on Wednesday, where he appealed to family, friends and the public to pray for his mother’s health and recovery.
In his post, Nizar said the family was seeking prayers and asked that Allah SWT grant his mother strength, mercy and assistance during this difficult time.
Najib Razak’s Facebook account also shared a similar message, praying for Tengku Puteri Zainah’s strength and perseverance, a smooth course of treatment and the best possible recovery.
