Earlier this year, during a trip to India, Komathi bought clothes for everyone in her family. Her reminder was simple: save these for Deepavali.
Today, the family does not know when Komathi will come home.
The 48-year-old was declared missing after floods swept through the Nepal-Tibet border region on Aug 26. She had been on a pilgrimage to Mount Kailash.
