KUALA LUMPUR: Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil recently met with two legendary figures in Malaysia's creative arts industry: renowned film producer Datuk Yusof Haslam and music maestro Datuk M. Nasir.

In a post on Threads last night, Fahmi shared that the meeting focused on the current state of local film and music, along with ways to nurture native talent and strengthen creative works.

"We discussed the development of the local film and music industries, as well as how Malaysian talent and works can be further strengthened," he wrote.

Fahmi added that the government remains committed to supporting local content and intellectual property (IP), helping more Malaysian creations reach international audiences.
