Federal territories minister Hannah Yeoh said gazetting of a 40ha parcel of leasehold land in Bukit Kiara as a federal park for public use would be carried out next year.PETALING JAYA: The RM400 million for Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) would be used to create 120 new green spaces, conserve existing parks, upgrade public facilities and preserve the city's heritage.
Federal territories minister Hannah Yeoh said the 2027 budget, tabled by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today, reflected the government's concern for urban residents' well-being, Bernama reported.
She said the proposed projects included providing covered walkways and pedestrian paths next year, continuing the Lestari Niaga programme and repainting People's Housing Projects (PPR) to improve residents' well-being.
