KUALA LUMPUR: RSN Rayer (PH-Jelutong) wants Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan (PN-Kota Baru) referred to the Parliamentary Committee of Privileges over his "munafik" remark during the 2027 Budget debate last week.
Rayer said the move should be considered following Takiyuddin's statement to the media proposing mediation with Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul before the latter had responded to his letter.
"Tan Sri Speaker, I can meet you in the House, no problem, but since this statement has been issued by him before you responded to him, I think he should be brought before the committee," he said when interjecting during the winding-up of the debate on the 2027 Supply Bill in the Dewan Rakyat.
