The government faced calls to explain its choice of Prosignal to co-develop the TuJu navigation application following reports of disruptions and technical problems flagged by users.PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) has defended its collaboration with Prosignal Consortium Sdn Bhd to develop the TuJu navigation application.

Civil servants have been barred from using Waze over national security concerns, while Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has encouraged Malaysians to consider switching to TuJu.

However, the government faced calls to explain its choice of Prosignal to co-develop TuJu following reports of disruptions and technical problems flagged by users.

LLM chairman Hasni Mohammad said the collaboration with Prosignal stemmed from a proposal presented by his predecessor, Abdul Rashid Asari, during Rashid’s tenure.
