The Dewan Rakyat today passed the 2027 supply bill at the policy stage by a majority voice vote.(Facebook pic)KUALA LUMPUR: The 2027 supply bill, otherwise known as the 2027 budget, was passed at the policy stage in the Dewan Rakyat today by a majority voice vote.
The bill was approved after finance minister II Amir Hamzah Azizan concluded his winding-up speech.
It will now move to the committee stage, where MPs will scrutinise and debate the proposed allocations for each ministry.
The committee stage is scheduled to begin on Monday and run until Nov 26, according to the Dewan Rakyat's previously released schedule.
