KUALA LUMPUR: Yinson Holdings Bhd announced that the lease of its 74 per cent-owned floating production, storage and offshore (FPSO) vessel FPSO John Agyekum Kufuor (JAK) operated by Eni Ghana Exploration and Production Ltd has been extended by four years.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Yinson said two of its units had entered into a contract amendment with Eni Ghana for the upgrading of the gas capacity of FPSO JAK, as part of the non-associated gas modification project.
The upgrading of the FPSO as well as the extension of the lease by four years to 2036 comes at a value of US$810 million, of which US$600 million are attributable to Yinson Production, a business of Yinson in the offshore energy sector.
