PETALING JAYA: Haze conditions in the country worsened overnight, with unhealthy air quality reported in 33 areas this moroning, particularly across the southern and central peninsula.
Johan Setia in Selangor registered the highest air pollutant index (API) reading of 191 as of 10am, followed by Cheras in Kuala Lumpur and Nilai in Negeri Sembilan, both at 189.
Johor remained among the worst-hit states, with unhealthy readings in Batu Pahat (188), Segamat (177), Pasir Gudang (174), Tangkak (169), Larkin (167), Pengerang (165), Kota Tinggi (164) and Kluang (161).
