PETALING JAYA: The chief registrar of the Federal Court has been asked to provide an official explanation of the Public Accounts Committee’s (PAC) findings on the management of the e-Jamin system.

Law and institutional reform minister Azalina Othman Said said this was because the system's operation and governance are under the purview of the judiciary, specifically the chief registrar's office.

"We have informed the chief registrar. Perhaps his office will make a statement," she was quoted as saying by Bernama during a press conference at the Parliament building today.
