KUALA TERENGGANU: The Terengganu government is drawing up measures to turn around 20 state government-linked companies (GLCs) that recorded losses, as identified in the Auditor General's Report Series 2/2026.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said the state monitored the companies' finances and performance through monthly meetings.

"We examine every issue raised at GLC meetings. The state government welcomes the findings, including those in the Auditor General's Report.

"We will make improvements from time to time to prevent further losses," he told reporters after accompanying the Regent of Terengganu, Tengku Muhammad Ismail Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, who opened a biodiversity seminar at Wisma Darul Iman.
