KUALA LUMPUR: Cha Kee Chin (PH-Rasah) has questioned why the Attorney-General's Chambers (A-GC) has yet to decide on the investigation into Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim's claim that he was forced to sign a proclamation seeking the removal of the state ruler.
Cha said the people of Negri Sembilan wanted to know the status of the case, as police had submitted the investigation paper to the A-GC on Sept 29.
"We want to know whether the menteri besar was really forced. If so, who forced him? Take appropriate action under the law.
"But if he was not forced, what action will be taken? This is an integrity issue involving the Negri Sembilan menteri besar," he said.
