HONG KONG: Charmaine Hui has shared an emotional tribute to her late father, the veteran Hong Kong actor Benz Hui, on the first anniversary of his death.

Charmaine, 29, posted a heartfelt message on Instagram on Oct 28 to mark the day.

Benz, whose real name was Hui Shiu-hung, passed away at the age of 76 on Oct 28, 2025, from organ failure caused by cancer.

Reflecting on his absence, Charmaine revealed a conversation she had with her mother, Angeli Lung, who admitted that it still sometimes felt as though her husband had simply gone away for filming.
